Hume Bank are hosting their fifth ‘Earth Hour’ event on the border on Saturday the 19th of March from 7.30pm at Sumsion Gardens in Wodonga. And they’ve nominated Seed Savers Albury-Wodonga as the recipient of donations from this year’s event!
Border residents are invited to bring a picnic and a blanket and join Hume Bank for ‘Music by Moonlight’, an acoustic candlelit event with local artists Mia Grace and the Aviators.
‘Earth Hour’ is a landmark action for climate change. One hundred iconic landmarks in 1,000 cities and towns around the world will switch off their lights for Earth Hour this year, joining hundreds of millions of people showing their commitment to the environment. Lights are turned out at 8:30pm for one hour.
Music by Moonlight will start at 7:30 at Sumsion gardens, entry is by gold coin donation.
Seed Savers Albury-Wodonga will have some information about our group at the event too – please consider coming along to give us a hand or just to enjoy the event!
