Thanks Hume Bank for hosting Earth Hour in Wodonga

We had a very pleasant evening at the Wodonga Earth Hour event (Saturday 19 March).

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and cool weather following on from a hot few weeks. The acoustic ‘Music by Moonlight’ was provided by talented local group Mia Grace and the Aviators, with the crowd joining in to help with percussion and later, some enthusiastic dancing.

Here’s a snippet from the News Weekly paper about the night.

We are grateful to Hume Bank for nominating Seed Savers Albury-Wodonga as the recipients of donations made via the event. We plan to put the $308.60 in donations towards the purchase of new seed sieves, which will be available for members to use at our events.

Not sure how graduated sieves are used for cleaning seed? Be sure to come along to one of our seed cleaning or seed bank sessions this year to find out!
