Join us on August 16th
At our next event we’ll be exploring ways to improve your success when growing from seed. Whether you are an experienced seed raiser or beginner seed grower we bet you’ll find this a most useful session. Our guest speaker, Andrew Christy, regularly provides gardening advice at local Bunnings’ workshops and on talk-back radio.
Andrew will provide tips on raising seeds including: choosing a growing medium; containers; tricky seeds; tools to improve success; and more.
Andrew’s talk will be followed by our AGM (annual general meeting). We’ll be looking to keep this formality under ten minutes (as is our record over several years now). There’ll also be time to access the seed bank and to chat over supper. You’re welcome to stay or leave for the latter parts of the program.
When: 6:30pm, Tuesday 16th August 2016
Where: National Environment Centre (TAFE NSW), “hill site”, 97 Ettamogah Rd, Table Top. Map.
Optional – bring seeds to deposit (or your list of seeds to withdraw) from the seed bank; something to share for supper, if you are able; any excess seedlings or produce for the trade table.
Members and guests are welcome to attend. We ask for a $4 donation from non-members to assist with our insurance costs.
