The Albury-Wodonga Sustainable Living Festival runs throughout the month of November, with an impressive array of events and activities. The showcase event is the Sustainable Living Fair, being held at Junction Square in Wodonga on Saturday 18th of November between 9am and 1pm.
Seed Savers Albury-Wodonga are pleased to be attending again this year, and will be running a kids activity making newspaper pots and potting on seedlings to take home.
We’d love to see you there!
Pop by to say g’day while you check out the many other things happening on the day.
Or perhaps you can help us out, by contributing to our activity for an hour or two. No experience is necessary, just a little enthusiasm! If you’re up for it, jump over here to let us know when you’d like to come along. And anyone with some extra seedlings (or small plants) suitable to give away, we’d love to hear from you, too (you can use that same link).
We had a lot of fun at previous Sustainable Living Fairs, as you may recall. Here are a few photos from a couple of years ago to jog your memory!
Other attractions at the Fair include:
- Two tiny house experiences
- Farmers market
- Additional market stalls featuring sustainable products and services
- Talks (see below)
- Speed date a sustainable designer, energy efficiency expert or permaculture guru – get one on one advice
- Cooking demonstrations with Masterchef’s Julie Goodwin
- Sustainable fashion and art competition
- Kid’s activities
Entry is free!
In the Goods Shed function room there will be a series of sustainability talks.
