Next gathering: Tues 17 July
It’s that time of year again already! We use our annual stocktake of the shared seed bank as a chance to see which seeds have been coming and going from our seed collection, as well as which ones we need to grow on to ensure they remain viable.
This year we’ll also be using this session as a way to ‘take stock’ of our group and activities. We’re keen to hear your thoughts for the direction of the group as well as what we get up to in the second half of this year. If you are keen to see us continue and thrive, please add your voice.
When: Tues 17th July, 6pm to 7:30pm
Where: Sustainable Activity Centre, Lincoln Causeway, Wodonga
It will also be a chance to consolidate your seed storing skills. Find out about (or refresh your memory of) seed storage and life spans. And of course we’ll chat about gardening and food growing in general!
Please dress warmly as the venue can be cool at this time of year.
Plus the usual arrangements:
– We’ll have a trade/share table for cuttings, seedlings, snacks or other things to swap or share.
– Members and guests are welcome to attend. We ask for a $4 donation from non-members to assist with our insurance costs.
We always appreciate a hand at our events. If you’re willing to help, for example with packing up, or taking a few notes or photos that we might include in our next newsletter, please be sure to let us know on the night.
