Member Wendy Justice sent us this note – Thurgoona Community Garden are seeking donations of seedlings and/or people to become involved in their garden.
Don’t just reach for the glyphosate! We will look at safer, more environmentally friendly ways of dealing with these “plants in the wrong place”. Best of all, we will learn to view them as friends with a multitude of valuable and delicious uses.

As you know, Seed Savers Albury-Wodonga Inc is a not-for-profit incorporated association. It’s run by, and for, our members. Membership fees help us to ensure we have appropriate insurance for our activities, as well as provide some shared equipment and resources, including the website. The wonderful workers got onto sorting, repackaging, labelling and reboxing to further organise our seed collection. Seedlings were also brought along and swapped, and we shared supper between getting on with the jobs at hand. Lots of good advice, tales and laughter. Continue reading
